Acceptance of Orders:
All orders are subject to acceptance by our sales and credit departments. Some system equipment may be subject to disclosure of end-user information per manufacturer policies and requirements. All orders are subject to manufacturer availability and may be cancelled by Stellar-1 Communications at any time, if it is determined we are not able to fulfil order as placed.
Phone orders will not be processed until written confirmation and payment is received.
Credit card orders will be charged at the time the order is placed.
Orders paid by check will not be processed until payment is received.
Orders shipping to locations within the State of Ohio will be charged sales tax, unless a valid resale or sales tax exemption certificate is received. Tax Exempt Customers may register for an account and complete the sales tax exempt information in the Checkout process. Customers who prefer not to register for an account will be required to complete the sales tax exempt information for each order. Questions regarding sales tax should be directed to Information@Stellar-1.com.
Most orders normally ship within 2-3 business days, unless otherwise indicated. Large orders and/or custom products, or orders for non-stock items are subject to manufacturer turn-around time. You will be notified if your order is not expected to ship within the normal turn-around time, and you will be given the opportunity to cancel or proceed with your order at that time.
Standard shipping is UPS Ground Insured. Shipment should be inspected for damage upon arrival and damage must be noted on packing slip and reported to Stellar-1 Communications within 3 days of delivery. Claims of short shipment must be made within 3 days of receipt of equipment.
Prices are subject to change without notice, per manufacturer price changes that have not yet been reflected on website. If a price change is required for your order, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to cancel your order. Your written approval will be required if a price needs to be changed.
Product photos represent likeness to actual product, and in some cases, a basic item is used for products with multiple options (i.e., number of buttons, cord length, etc.).
Any dates of delivery are estimates and subject to manufacturer and carrier limitations. Stellar-1 Communications makes no guarantees on delivery and shall not be liable for failure or delay in shipping goods hereunder.
Priority Shipping / Rush Orders:
Website orders will be processed according to normal turn-around time, subject to Terms and Conditions stated herein.
Call Stellar-1 Communications to make arrangements for Rush Orders or Priority Shipping requests.
Orders cannot be canceled without the written consent of Stellar-1 Communications. If granted, any expenses incurred by us must be absorbed by the buyer. Large orders and/or custom products may require completion of a “No Cancellation – No Return” form prior to order acceptance. Orders for apartment house lobby panels, special order merchandise, customized, modified, or altered equipment may not be canceled once manufacture begins.
Back Order Policy:
Unless we are instructed to ship an order complete, we may partial ship and back-order the balance of the order.
Return for Credit:
All sales are considered final. Approval to return merchandise for credit may be granted on a case-by-case basis, and is subject to the following conditions: 1) Merchandise must be unused and in new condition, and returned freight prepaid in its original packaging, including any unopened bags, 2) Credit will be issued at original billing price, less restocking charge, 3) A minimum of 25% restocking charge will be deducted from the credit to cover the cost of handling, billing adjustment, re-inspection, re-testing, etc.
Any custom-made, modified, or altered equipment is not subject to return for credit or exchange. Since all apartment house lobby panels are custom made, they are not subject to return for credit or exchange. Non-current merchandise and/or goods shipped 30 days or more before will not be accepted for credit or exchange.
Return for Repair:
Repair of equipment, with the exception of non-current Ascom Wireless handset models, is subject to manufacturer policies and procedures, and is the buyer’s responsibility. Contact equipment manufacturer for policies and procedures.
Equipment warranties, with the exception of non-current Ascom Wireless handset models, are subject to manufacturer policies and procedures. Contact equipment manufacturer for warranty information. Stellar-1 Communications makes no statement of responsibility for warranty of products, and accepts no liability for any and all losses resulting from products sold by Stellar-1 Communications. There are no obligations or liabilities on the part of Stellar-1 Communications for consequential damages arising out of, or in connection with, the use or performance of any products sold by Stellar-1 Communications, or other indirect damages with respect to property damage, or loss of revenue, profit, inconvenience, life or health.
Venue and Statute of Limitations:
Any claims against Stellar-1 Communications shall be brought in state court in Knox County, Ohio. Such claims must be made, pursuant to the General Statutes of Ohio, within one year from the date of the accrual of any cause of action.
There are no provisions with respect to a quotation which are not specified herein. If buyer places an order with Stellar-1 Communications based on a quotation, whether in writing or orally, then the quotation and buyer’s order and seller’s acceptance and confirmation will constitute the entire contract between buyer and seller with respect to the subject matter of this quotation. Any agreement so made shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
